The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
