TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
